You Make Space For Peace in Your Life When You Do These Things

Allowing two things to be true at once is crucial for our mental well-being because it promotes acceptance and flexibility. Often, we are taught to see the world in black and white, right or wrong, good or bad. However, life is complex, and situations are rarely so clear-cut.

Embracing the concept of two truths encourages us to hold conflicting emotions or beliefs without the need to categorize them as solely positive or negative. This practice reduces self-judgment and fosters self-compassion, allowing us to navigate challenging emotions with greater ease. It also opens the door to understanding and empathy, both for ourselves and others.

By accepting that conflicting truths can coexist, we can release the pressure of rigid thinking and experience the freedom and peace that come with a more nuanced perspective, enhancing our overall mental health.

  3. You can have all the knowledge and information to do better and struggle to turn that information into action.

  4. You can have good intentions and still cause harm.
