My Therapeutic Approach
I believe that healing is a social justice issue—meaning that to truly address challenges like anxiety, depression, burnout, and relationship struggles, we must look beyond the individual and examine the systems and structures that shape our daily lives. Stress isn’t always just personal; it can stem from demanding corporate environments, systemic inequities, or dysfunctional family dynamics that make it difficult to thrive.
My approach to therapy is holistic, warm, and compassionate—yet direct. I strive to create a psychologically safe space where you feel seen, heard, and valued while also equipping you with the tools to be assertive, direct, and resilient in the face of life’s challenges.
As a first-generation Panamanian, I ensure that my work is culturally affirming and not limited to Americanized concepts of healing. I welcome culture, art, and entertainment into the therapeutic space because healing looks different for everyone. For some, it might mean feeling grounded in nature; for others, it could be listening to soca, cooking a bowl of sancocho, or embracing traditions that bring comfort and connection.
I am deeply honored by those who choose to work with me and invite me to be a part of their healing journey. If you’re ready to explore therapy together, schedule a consultation today.
